Check out the newest addition to our website, the “Taj Garage” on Mercer Island, Washington, now on the boards at Gelotte Hommas. The garage is designed to accommodate 20 or more cars, perfect for its auto-enthusiast homeowner. At just under 3,000 square feet, including over 1,000 square feet of suspended living space, the architecture is reminiscent of a European train station. What’s more? A catwalk over the garage provides a grand view of the fine automobile collection.Visit our website to see more photos of the architectural plan and homesite.

The Glassworks Remodel we blogged about in April is now under construction, and the owner has recorded no fewer than 58 time lapse videos of the work so far and posted them on YouTube. The most recent video shows progress on the backyard patio area, where large cedar beams are being erected to form a covered porch, which will be joined by a fireplace inglenook and an expanded outdoor living space when complete. The interior will get a revamped kitchen island and family room and a new reading area in the master bedroom. More updates on this transformation to come!
