From start to finish there are quite a lot of details that go into the design, and then build out processes of residential architecture. This can take anywhere from 6 months to 3 years depending on the size and complexity of the project. Whether remodeling your guest bathroom, or designing a 35,000 sq. ft home in the Colorado Rockies, the process can basically be broken down into 7 stages.
Check out this info-graphic we developed to help us explain the process. Enjoy!

Great infographic! Really useful to print out for clients.
Thanks. We’re glad you like it and we hope you get some good use out of it.
once, won’t mind saying twice, you do an amnzig work here, it’s one of the best architecture blogs I’ve ever seen. I have so many great architects in mind and houses… like, Nabim Gholan, I love Peter L Gluck too, he’s brilliant, Richard Meier has some interesting work. I can’t remember right now, but there’s this L.A. based company that does more mediterranean work, but they also have modern houses, and they are incredible! Marcio Kogan is always great, no matter what, he’s a genius (for me). Thank you for opening and asking your readers, that’s nice of you and what makes a difference here…
